my last completed novel, The Violence of Men, has so far gotten two rejections. this morning i received a “revise this and send me the whole thing” email, which is always hopeful.
i keep getting the same critiques so i’m taking the hint. i am a visual artist so my work is very descriptive. but the editors say i overdue it. haha. i get it. it was good advice so now i have to get back in it to make it sellable. i promise i try my best to be minimalist but frequently fail at it. this is a good book that i believe in. with my upcoming Dead Dog on the Highway, it is part of what i consider my Bardo Trilogy. (and i secretly call it my divorce trilogy).
