I could say that I chase a high when I am on a roll, writing what I want to write. But the truth is I’m never high from writing. I may be high WHILE writing but not always. What I chase is the slow fade, being so lost in the writing I look up and I don’t remember most of what I wrote. Truth be told I’m writing about five books at the same time right now. Some are mostly finished others barely started. When I’m on a good roll, I write two strong books at the same time. It wasn’t love that got me through the pandemic. It was writing and probably cannabis.
